The leader of the Valkyrie attack, Stanley possesses arguably the best kicking game in the Betfred Women’s Super League while equally as deadly running at defenders.

Stanley joined York from Castleford Tigers ahead of the 2022 and enjoyed a sublime debut year, winning the Woman of Steel as she guided York to the League Leaders’ Shield - the team’s first piece of major silverware.

A third Woman of Steel nomination followed in 2023 for Stanley - who scored nine tries, 65 goals, two drop-goals and laid on 22 assists -  as the Valkyrie secured an historic retention of their League Leaders’ Shield and won a maiden Grand Final title.

A vastly-experienced England international since 2012, no player has scored more points for the national team than Stanley (218).
