2022 was a breakthrough year for Towse, who established himself as a first-team starter and was nominated for the Betfred Championship Young Player of the Year award.

The winger scored eight tries in 18 appearances for York, proving to be an acrobatic finisher and one of the brightest young talents in the division.

Towse, who joined the Club in 2021 after a successful trial the previous year, is one of four products from local community club Heworth to be part of the current Knights first-team squad.
