1868 Club

The 1868 club is a fundraising initiative to support the work of the York RLFC Foundation across York and North Yorkshire.
The Foundation works extensively across the area delivering programmes for people aged 4 to 84 in activities ranging from schools coaching to heritage and wellbeing. Each year we touch the lives of over 10,000 people and with the mission of ‘supporting communities and changing lives’ we have ambitions to grow the reach of our work even further. Your support will help us meet these ambitions.
General Manager Neil Gulliver said: “We see the 1868 Club as another important strand of not only maintaining the sustainability of the Foundation but securing its ongoing growth. Over the last few years our work has grown dramatically to include Women and Girls, Disability, Heritage and a Player Development Pathway to go alongside our excellent work in the schools and community.
“The Foundation has an excellent reputation and we are hoping through this initiative we will be able to extend the reach and depth of our work. For less than the price of a pint of beer a week you can help the Foundation to support the growth of the game in our area.”
To sign up to our 1868 Club all you have to do is pledge £100 or more each year to the Foundation. In return your support will be acknowledged on the Foundation pages of the York RLFC website and two tickets to a game at the LNER Community Stadium.
