One of the most exciting additions to the Knights squad during the off-season, Williams provides further competition to York’s half-back options after three seasons with Whitehaven and Newcastle Thunder.

The New Zealander spent time in the junior set-ups at NRL clubs Canterbury Bulldogs and Melbourne Storm before joining Whitehaven in 2021.

Williams guided Haven to a Betfred Championship Play-Offs finish in his first season - the Club’s highest placing since 2009 - before finishing as the team’s top points-scorer in 2022 with nine tries and 47 goals.

Newcastle came calling in 2023, with Williams topping Thunder’s points-scoring chart thanks to four tries, 50 goals and one drop-goal, earning a switch to the Knights on a two-year deal.
