Va’a arrives at York on a two year deal, keeping him with the club until the end of 2027.

The 22 year-old came through the pathways at Sydney Roosters and he also spent time as a junior at Brisbane Broncos.

He made his NRL debut for the Roosters in 2025, coming from the bench and scoring in their win over Cronulla Sharks. He’s also got 44 appearances in the New South Wales Cup under his belt, and he’s captained Queensland in the Under 19’s State of Origin.

A highly rated prop, Va’a will add more size and strength to the York pack.
