The 29-year old half-back moved over to the Knights in August 2025, initially joining on loan from Hull KR.

He spent the last two seasons at the Super League club, after joining from Castleford Tigers.

Richardson began his career at St.Helens, where he played for three seasons before moving to West Yorkshire.

Last year, Richardson made four appearances in Super League for Rovers and also spent time on loan at Huddersfield Giants and Salford Red Devils.

An ankle injury sustained playing for Rovers against Leigh Leopards in July brought his season to a premature end, so he’s looking to kick start his career in the amber and black shirt.

With more than 100 Super League appearances, Richardson brings plenty of top flight experience to the Knights.
