Jamaican international, Jones-Bishop returned to York for a second spell in 2025, agreeing a deal until the end of the season after spending four seasons at Sheffield Eagles.

He made a huge impact, becoming the Championship’s top try scorer with 30 tries, which included four in one game against Hunslet.

His first spell at the LNER Community Stadium was in 2021, when he made 19 appearances and scored 9 tries. One of those came at Wembley, in the 1895 Cup Final defeat by Featherstone Rovers.

Jones-Bishop brings plenty of experience to the Knights’ back line, having featured in Challenge Cup Finals and Grand Finals for Leeds Rhinos. He was also part of the Rhinos’ World Club Challenge winning side in 2012, scoring in the 20-12 win over Manly Sea Eagles.
