Another of the Knights’ international players, Teanby featured twice for Scotland during the World Cup last year, making appearances against Australia and Fiji in the sport’s showpiece competition.

Teanby is in his fifth season at York, having joined ahead of the 2019 season from Dewsbury Rams, for whom he made 77 appearances, scoring nine tries and where he started his professional career.

The prop forward made 30 appearances in 2019 as York secured a third-placed finish in the Betfred Championship - the Club’s highest finish since the 1985/86 season.

Teanby featured in the 41-34 defeat to Featherstone Rovers in the 2021 AB Sundecks 1895 Cup Final at Wembley Stadium as well as last year’s 26-24 win over Halifax Panthers at The Shay, the Club’s first win in the Betfred Championship Play-Offs.
