Field made an immediate impact at the Knights, initially arriving on a one month loan spell from Leeds Rhinos during the 2023 season.

After impressing in both the back-row and centres he earned himself a permanent contract.

The former Leeds Under 19’s captain had short loan spells at Batley Bulldogs, Oldham and Cornwall earlier in his career but made his first genuine step into a first-team environment when he joined York from the Rhinos.

In his first season with the Knights, Field contributed 7 tries in 26 appearances - more than any other forward in the previous season - and finished 2024 with a further seven tries in 26 appearances.

With a more settled move to the centres in 2025, he scored 14 tries in 32 appearances.
