The Knights took many in the world of rugby league by surprise when securing the signature of gifted Leeds Rhinos youngster Levi Edwards on a three-year deal last year.

Edwards showed his class to York supporters during a fruitful loan spell in 2022, scoring four tries in 11 appearances and featuring in the historic 26-24 victory over Halifax Panthers at The Shay, the Club’s first win in the Betfred Championship Play-Offs.

The former England Knights squad member had crossed for four tries in five Batley Bulldogs outings in the previous season.

After four matches as a permanent York player in 2023, the centre suffered a season-ending injury, but he will keen to bounce back and continue to show his talent this year.
