Bass returned to York in July on loan from Sheffield Eagles until the end of the season. 

The versatile back, who can feature at centre, wing or at full-back, made over 40 appearances for York during his first spell.

The former Midlands Hurricanes man was part of the 2019 York side that finished third in the Betfred Championship and was a try-scorer in the 2021 AB Sundecks 1895 Cup Final against Featherstone Rovers at Wembley Stadium.
