York secured the signature of Edwards on a three-year deal from Betfred Super League giants Leeds Rhinos during the off-season.

Edwards impressed for the Knights during his season-loan in 2022 and featured in the historic 26-24 victory over Halifax Panthers at The Shay, the Club’s first win in the Betfred Championship Play-Offs.

In total, the centre scored four tries in 11 appearances last year for York, crossing the whitewash three times in his first four matches.

The former Leeds man was called up to the England Knights squad in 2021.
