Pemberton is one of the most exciting prospects in the Knights squad.

The hooker, who can also cover in the halves and at loose forward, joined York on loan from St Helens in August 2023, scoring a try on his debut in the 40-30 win at Widnes Vikings.

Pemberton went to feature seven times in 2023, playing a key role during the run-in to York’s dramatic finish inside the Betfred Championship Play-Offs.

In 2024, he featured eight times, scoring three tries and kicking 17 goals, including five in the dramatic comeback win at Swinton.

He made 10 appearances in 2025, as the Knights finished top of the Betfred Championship.
