After two previous successful loan spells at York, Harris signed a permanent deal with the Knights ahead of the 2022 season, finishing as the Club’s top try-scorer as a first-ever Betfred Championship Play-Offs win was secured.

Harris crossed for 18 tries last year, including a score in the historic 26-24 win away to his former club Halifax Panthers in the Betfred Championship Play-Off Qualifiers at The Shay Stadium.

The half-back first joined York in 2017, scoring 14 tries in 18 appearances while on loan from Hull KR.

He returned in 2019 - as the Knights finished third in the Betfred Championship - the Club’s highest finish since 1985/86 - making 18 appearances and scoring five tries.

After a year at Halifax Panthers, who secured a third-placed finish in the Betfred Championship, Harris signed a permanent contract at the LNER Community Stadium Club.
