A late arrival in 2024, forward, Jack Martin initially made just eight appearances but quickly became a favourite amongst the Knights’ faithful.

The potential shown in those first few games flourished in 2025, earning him the accolade of York Knights’ Forward of the Year, starting 31 games and scoring 6 tries.

The 24-year-old joined the Knights from Wynnum Manly Seagulls (2023-2024) and has previously made appearances for Cronulla Sharks (2022) and Ipswich Jets (2019).

As a young and upcoming prop forward, Martin made 32 appearances in the Queensland Cup and two appearances in the New South Wales Cup in the Reserve Grade, in time with Wynum Manly Seagulls, Cronulla Sharks and Ipswich Jets.

He also played for Queensland U19s.

He was part of the York teams which won the AB Sundecks 1895 Cup at Wembley, lifted the Befred Championship League Leaders' Shield and reached the Grand Final.
