Antrobus signs new deal!

The Knights are delighted to confirm that Bailey Antrobus has signed a new one-year deal with the Club, thanks to the support of Squad Builder!

22-year-old Antrobus joined the Knights after arriving in the UK from St George Illawarra Dragons following a period in pre-season training with their NRL squad.

Since making his Knights debut in the regular season home fixture against Halifax Panthers, Antrobus has featured at both centre and back-row, earning himself Heritage Number 1916.

Antrobus also made his Wales debut earlier this year, one of the reasons for him heading to the UK, and is in contention to be selected for their World Cup squad over the coming weeks.

On retaining Antrobus, Head Coach James Ford said: “Bailey is a quality athlete and a great kid. He has the attitude and talent to have a big impact on this team and division.”

Antrobus himself added: “I’m really looking forward to what 2023 brings to the Knights and what I can bring to the team. It’ll be great to keep adding to what we have already built.

“I’m looking forward to linking up with the new boys as well as continuing to gel with the lads we already have here. They’re a great bunch of lads and, with Fordy and Benny’s coaching, I think we can take another really good step forward and compete in 2023.

Antrobus has been joined at the Knights by new signings Josh Daley and Ata Hingano and will continue into 2023 alongside the likes of Liam Harris, James Glover and Joe Brown. 2023 Season Tickets go on sale at 10am today.
