York City Knights are delighted to confirm that Burflex Scaffolding will be continuing their partnership with the club next season and will be appearing on the sleeves of our 2022 playing shirts.
Burflex Scaffolding is one of the largest independent, family-owned scaffolding companies in the North of England, first established in 2003 by Mr. Steve Cox, the Managing Director. Burflex operates from a Head office in Hull with other depots in Leeds, Sheffield, and York to support our scaffolding operations across the North of England and major projects nationwide.
Ahead of the 2021 season, Burflex Scaffolding became York City Knights Foundation’s Main Headline Partner and have played a pivotal role in enabling the club to maintain and develop our outstanding offer to our community. A range of projects, including our Excel Player Development Programme and extensive school holiday sessions, are made possible through Burflex’s support.
On the extended partnership, Knights Chairman Jon Flatman said: “Since Burflex came on board ahead of 2021, I’m delighted with how the partnership has developed. Their interest in what the club is doing in the community is great to see and it’s brilliant to see the positive impact their support has enabled our Foundation to have in the community.
“For them to be continuing and growing their partnership for 2022 is great, it’s a real vote of confidence in what we are doing. I’m looking forward to welcoming Steve, Gareth and the team back to the LNER Community Stadium in 2022.”
