York City Knights are delighted to announce a partnership with kit manufacturers Ellgren to become our new Kit & Apparel Partner.
In 2022, Ellgren will provide playing kits for each of our Men’s, Ladies’ and Disability Rugby League teams as well as bespoke training and leisure ranges, all of which will be on sale in the coming weeks both online and from our Club Shop within the LNER Community Stadium.
A recognisable name in the sport, Ellgren have produced some of the most iconic kits in rugby league, including a number of York RL kits down the years. After returning ahead of 2021, the company produced the kits for Halifax Panthers and Leigh Centurions and, for the next two years, the Knights join their list of partners.

York City Knights Chairman Jon Flatman said: “As a well-known brand within Rugby League, York City Knights are delighted to partner with Ellgren.
“They have returned to the sport in recent years and, after seeing the kit they supplied other clubs in 2021, we’re confident that they will provide a range of on and off-field kit and leisure items that our fans will be delighted with.
“As part of the launch, Ellgren will be hosting the new York City Knights Online Store.
“I’m looking forward to seeing the launch this week and then our supporters getting their first chance to get their hands on the kit at the Fans’ Forum on Thursday.”
