English joins Knights on loan!

York Knights have signed prop forward, Matty English on loan until the end of the season, thanks to support from Squad Builder!
He joins from Huddersfield Giants, where he has spent 10 seasons and earned a testimonial year in 2026.
A product of the Giants’ academy system, he made his debut for the West Yorkshire club in 2017 and other than short loan spells at Dewsbury (2018) and Castleford (2024), he’s spent his whole career with them.
English made two appearances for England Knights, with one in 2019 and again in 2022.
The 28-year old was 18th Player for the Giants in last week's game against the Knights.
He’s available for the Knights game against St.Helens on Saturday at the LNER Community Stadium.
