James Ford has named his 21-Man Squad for Sunday’s AB Sundecks 1895 Cup Semi-Final against Swinton Lions as the Knights look to reach Wembley Stadium.
Riley Dean and Danny Washbrook return to the preliminary squad after missing out on last weekend’s match against Bradford Bulls while half-back Brendan O’Hagan and Ben Jones-Bishop drop out, the latter having exited proceedings against Bradford with a muscle injury.
Ford will be looking to lead the Knights to a first Wembley visit since 1931 with a victory and will hope to do so in front of a buoyant LNER Community Stadium after our capacity was increased from 1000 to 2000.
The Head Coach has commented previously about the impact the fans have on the players’ performance and how big they are for the club. Tickets remain on sale for the match and, as ever, under-16s go free with the Knights!
