Ford names squad for Sheffield match

Head Coach James Ford has named his 21-Man Squad for Friday’s Betfred Championship home match of the season with a number of Knights returning to contention after missing last weekend’s defeat to Leigh Centurions.

Half-backs Brendan O’Hagan and Ata Hingano come back into the group for Ford to select from, the latter having been ineligible on Sunday against his parent club. Experienced forwards Jordan Thompson and Danny Kirmond also come back into contention with captain Chris Clarkson the only member of the seventeen named last weekend to drop out with a knock.

The Knights will be looking for a first win in three at the LNER Community Stadium with Ford, along with Liam Harris, highlighting to the media the importance this week of a response in front of our home supporters.

Tickets are available now for Friday’s match and supporters can buy theirs online at yorkcityknights.com/tickets. Tickets will be available on the day of the match.
