York RLFC Foundation are delighted to announce a new series of Coach Education workshops as part of York RLFC's relaunched Club Support and Development Plan.
The Foundation will be running five Coach Education workshops aimed at facilitating the development of community rugby league coaching across North Yorkshire.
The Coach Education workshops consist of the RFL Level One Coaching Course, the RFL Level Two Coaching Course, the RFL Referee Course, the Primary Rugby League Community Coaches Workshop and Primary Rugby League Teachers Course.
RFL Level One Coaching Course
The RFL Level One Coaching Course is designed for over-16s who are seeking are introduction into working with primary rugby league teams.
Who: Anyone over the age of 16
Where: York St John University Sports Park, YO31 7EX
When: Saturday 8th May and Saturday 18th May (9am - 5pm)

RFL Level Two Coaching Course
The RFL Level Two Coaching Course is the industry-standard for coaches operating within the 13-a-side game.
Who: Rugby league coaches operating from Under-12s and older age groups
Where: York St John University Sports Park, YO31 7EX
When: Monday 4th May, Monday 18th May, Monday 15th June, Monday 29th June (9am - 5pm)

RFL Referee Course
The RFL Referee Course provides an introduction into the role and responsibilities of a rugby league referee.
Who: Anyone interested in rugby league refereeing

Primary Rugby League Community Coaches Workshop
The Primary Rugby League Community Coaches Workshop provides all primary rugby league community coaches with an understanding of the ethos, rationale and benefits of primary rugby league.
Who: Coaches currently operating in primary rugby league
Where: LNER Community Stadium, YO32 9AF
When: Tuesday 19th March (6.15pm - 7.30pm)

Primary Rugby League Teachers Course
The Primary Rugby League Teachers Coaches is aimed at primary school teachers who to implement rugby league into their PE curriculum in a school setting.
Who: Primary school teachers
Where: York St John University Sports Park, YO31 7EX
When: Wednesday 15th May (1.30pm - 4pm)
Cost: £35 or FREE places available through York RLFC Foundation's Alliance Schools Programme
