Fuz becomes a Valkyrie!

York Valkyrie have signed Australian half-back, Abbey Fuz for the next two seasons, thanks to support from Squad Builder!

She’s agreed a contract which will bring her to England to play in the Betfred Women’s Super League in 2026 and 2027.

Well rated for her pace and power, the half back joins from Canterbury Bulldogs, where she featured for the 2025 Tarsha Gale Cup squad for Canterbury Bulldogs Under 17s in the Lisa Fiaola Cup competition in 2024 before stepping up to the Under 19s squad for the Tarsha Gale Cup competition last season.

Fuz can't wait to get started, saying: "I’m super keen to be able to join the squad this season!

"The club has given me an incredible opportunity, I just can’t wait to get over and get around training and around all the girls."
