York Knights flying winger, Scott Galeano has committed to the club with a new full time deal, thanks to the support of Squad Builder!
The 27 year old Australian made his York debut with two tries at Widnes in April, and followed that with a hat-trick against Doncaster in his first home appearance.
In all, he scored 21 tries in 23 games, including another hat-trick in the home win over London and two in the vital victory in Toulouse which gave the Knights a big step towards clinching the Betfred Championship League Leaders shield.
Galeano joined from Sunshine Coast Falcons, a feeder club for Melbourne Storm, where he played in the Queensland Rugby League Hostplus Cup for three seasons.
Coach, Mark Applegarth said: "He's been class. A real 'metre eater' for us.
"He does a lot of tough stuff in yardage and he's got really good top end speed.
"He's a real character in the dressing room and I'm delighted he's over the line."
Scott Galeano added: "I've really enjoyed my time at York so far, so I'm grateful to be locked in for 2026.
"Super League is a big step up but I'm keen for the challenge and to see how far this team can go. We've got a great group of players and coaches who I think will work really well together.
