York Knights Head Coach Andrew Henderson has selected his 19-player squad for Sunday’s pre-season friendly clash away to Doncaster RLFC (3pm).
Five players could make their first appearances in York shirts as off-season recruits Josh Daley, Conor Fitzsimmons, Jon Luke Kirby, Harry Price and trialist Ben Pickles have been named in the squad.
Boss Henderson is taking charge of his first match as Head Coach, having taken charge in October, and will be seeking to build fitness and combinations ahead of the start of the 2023 Betfred Championship campaign.
The Knights begin league action against Widnes Vikings on Sunday 5th February (3pm) at the LNER Community Stadium.
Ahead of that fixture, Henderson’s side host Batley Bulldogs at the LNER Community Stadium on Sunday 22nd January (3pm).
