York City Knights are delighted to be hosting our First Annual Past Players’ Golf Day on Friday 1st July as part of our Heritage Weekend, to take place at Sandburn Hall Golf Club. While our Club continues to move forward, we want to celebrate the rich and varied history that has brought us to where we are today.
Rugby league in our city can trace its roots back over 150 years with York Football Club forming in 1868, playing both association and rugby football.
The club has been through several phases since then and, as such, is proud to have a rich and varied history with many players wearing the badge with pride.
Over the first weekend of July, we are pleased to be celebrating these with a number of events set to take place with our Heritage Weekend Golf Day the first of those.
The event is open to all and will kick off at 12 noon with a soup and sandwich lunch before a shotgun start at 1:30pm. All players will then be invited to a post-round barbecue.
Tickets are priced at £68 per person, £136 for two and £225 for a group of four. If you are interested, please head to the link below to complete the form and we will back in touch.
Booking has now closed for this event. Our Past Players’ Golf Day will return in 2023.
