York City Knights are pleased to confirm that our first double-header of 2022 will take place on Sunday 20th March at the LNER Community Stadium with Lindsay Anfield’s Ladies team set to kick off proceedings at 12pm against Wigan Warriors in their Betfred Women’s Challenge Cup Group Stage encounter.
Following that, at 3pm, James Ford’s men will take on the currently unbeaten Widnes Vikings in our fifth Betfred Championship match of the season.
Tickets are available now with adult tickets priced at £20, concessions (17-21 years old) at £15 and FREE for under-16s – and all tickets will apply for both matches of the double-header.
Hospitality guests will be able to take in the Ladies’ match ahead of dining in one of our executive lounges within the LNER Community Stadium with the three-course meal beginning from 1:30pm.
Turnstiles and the hospitality entrance will open from 11:30am ahead of kick-off in the first match and complimentary tea and coffee will be available at half-time of the Ladies’ match ahead of the three-course meal in the break between matches.
The Knights Ladies will be looking to build on a positive 2021 where Anfield’s team reached the Challenge Cup Final and Women’s Super League Play-Offs, defeated in the semi-final by Leeds Rhinos.
