Knights name preliminary squad for Whitehaven clash

York Knights have named their preliminary squad for Sunday's Betfred Championship clash against Whitehaven RLFC at the LNER Community Stadium (3pm).


Head Coach Andrew Henderson, who is proudly sponsored by Haxby Sports Bar, makes two change to his squad following last weekend's defeat at Batley Bulldogs.


Full-back Will Dagger returns to the squad for the first time following the armpit injury he sustained away to Barrow Raiders at the beginning of last month while back-rower Charlie Severs is also back after missing the trip to Batley due to undergoing the concussion return-to-play protocol. Second-row Oli Field and forward Jacob Gannon drop out.

 

Centre Jesse Dee (bicep), prop Brenden Santi (calf), utility James Cunningham (hamstring), forward Bailey Antrobus (ACL) and centre Levi Edwards (ACL) remain sidelined through injury.
