Ladies' match vs St Helens cancelled

The Betfred Women’s Super League fixture between York City Knights and St Helens which was scheduled for today has been awarded to York, with a 24-0 scoreline, after St Helens advised that they are unable to field a team.

Saints were cleared to return to training this week after last Sunday’s scheduled fixture against Wigan Warriors was postponed under the game’s Covid-19 protocols.

St Helens advised on Saturday that they would be unable to fulfil the York fixture. However, they do not meet the threshold of seven players ruled out as a direct result of Covid-19. Therefore the game has been awarded to York.
