Ahead of Saturday's big match at Wembley Stadium against Featherstone Rovers for the AB Sundecks 1895 Cup Final, London North Eastern Railway are keen to share the message below with supporters making the trip to London.
We are expecting services from Yorkshire to and from London to be extremely busy around the weekend of the 17 and 18 July and to best support fans travelling, we are advising LNER customers to ensure they plan and book their journeys in advance.
All LNER services are reservation only, so everyone travelling must book a seat. They can do so athttps://www.lner.co.uk/travel-information/make-a-reservation/ or via the LNER App or at a Travel Centre. If booking at a travel centre, we would advise you to do this prior to the weekend of the 17 and 18 July to ensure there is seat availability.
For this event, we are strongly advising that customers have their travel plans in place in good time to avoid disappointment. If people don't have a reservation, they may not be able to travel. We also urge customers to check their journey before they travel. They should not head to the station without a seat reservation as we work to keep customers safe.
Face coverings must also be worn onboard services and in stations, unless people are exempt.
Customers are also asked to allow extra time for boarding and ticket and reservation checks.
