Matchday Takeover: The Good Racing Company!

York RLFC is delighted to announce that The Good Racing Company is taking over Matchday for the double header of York Valkyrie v Barrow Ladies in the Betfred Women's Super League (12pm) and York Knights v Barrow Raiders in the Betfred Championship at the LNER Community Stadium (3pm)!

"The Good Racing Company was formed in October 2020 by entrepreneur and racing enthusiast, Phil Hawthorne, as an innovative way to fundraise for Rob Burrow after the former Leeds Rhinos star announced he was living with MND. The Good Racing Company now manages a series of charity racing clubs and several racing syndicates including the highly successful Alfa Kellenic syndicate which enjoyed six consecutive victories last year.

OUR MISSION

The Good Racing Company represents more than just a racing club or syndicate. It is a unique fundraising initiative that puts club, syndicate and charity members at the very heart of the racing world by dedicating racehorses to raise funds and awareness for different charitable causes. The Good Racing Company wants to promote horse racing as an all-inclusive sport that motivates and excites people for many different reasons, especially racing for good causes."

They will be in the Fanzone from 1pm to talk about their work and how you can get involved.

There will also be the Good Racing Co. Derby on the pitch at half time!

Tickets for Sunday's double header with York Valkyrie v Barrow Ladies in the Betfred Women's Super League and the Betfred Championship match between York Knights and Barrow Raiders (3pm) are on sale NOW!

Tickets include both games and are priced at £22 for Adults, £17 for Concessions (16 to 21-year-olds and over 65s) and FREE for Under 16s!
