Moxon agrees new Valkyrie deal!

York Valkyrie have re-signed centre, Tara Moxon on a new deal, thanks to support from Squad Builder!
The Papua New Guinea international has agreed a two year deal, following her debut season with the club.
She joined York in May after a four year stint with Leeds Rhinos. With her opportunities at Headingley limited, she finished 2024 at Huddersfield Giants before moving to the LNER Community Stadium.
She scored nine tries in 16 appearances in 2025, including two against her former club in the 24-16 win over the Rhinos in May.
On staying with the club, Moxon said: "I’m really looking forward to the season ahead with the Valks and having Leon as ahead coach.
"The Valkyrie is the place for me to build into the best player and teammate I can be."
