Sexton signs new Valkyrie deal!

York Valkyrie forward, Evie Sexton has signed a new two year deal thanks to the support of Squad Builder!

After a breakthrough season in 2025, she was named Young Player of Year after becoming a regular in the second row and scoring six tries in 12 appearances.

Initially coming through the girls’ pathways at Hull FC, Sexton linked up with the Valkyrie Under 19s before breaking into the first team.

In her first season at senior level in 2024, she made three Super League appearances.

A graduate of the England DiSE programme (Diploma in Sporting Excellence), she was selected for Yorkshire’s Origin squad by England coach, Stuart Barrow, for their game against Lancashire last month.

On signing for another two years, Sexton said: "I cant wait to be back playing with the girls for the 2026 season!"
