York RLFC are delighted to announce that six York Valkyrie players have been named in England Women's 20-player squad ahead of their clash with Wales at the AMT Headingley Rugby Stadium on Saturday 4th November (12pm).
Georgie Hetherington, Lacey Owen, Sinead Peach, Tamzin Renouf, Tara Jane Stanley and Liv Wood are in Head Coach Stuart Barrow's side for the international double header, which also sees England Men conclude their three-match Test Series against Tonga (2.30pm).
Hetherington and Owen could both make their England senior debuts, if selected, having played key roles in the Valkyrie's capture of the Betfred Women's Super League Grand Final and League Leaders' Shield in 2023.
