York RLFC are delighted to announce that a range of sponsorship opportunities are available for the York RLFC Foundation 2023 End of Season Awards on Wednesday 8th November at the LNER Community Stadium's LNER Lounge.
The York RLFC Foundation has enjoyed a hugely successful 2023 to date, being named as Runner-Up in the Foundation of the Year category at the Rugby League Awards evening, winning the RFL Wheelchair Club of the Year and staging our first Inclusion Day fixture.
As a registered charity, the York RLFC Foundation is funded through a range of successful funding applications, central distribution, donations and sponsorship.
The York RLFC Foundation are seeking sponsorship for our End of Season Awards, a not-for-profit event, which will celebrate the achievements of the players and the Foundation staff in 2023.
All money raised during the evening will support the Foundation's programmes which include the Excel Lions' boys player pathway, RugBees girls player pathway, Touch Rugby League, Coaching Education, Schools Programmes, York College Knights, York St John University Rugby League, Learning Disability Rugby League and Wheelchair Rugby League.
Sponsoring the York RLFC Foundation allows businesses, organisations or individuals to engage with our thriving local community, having seen a reach of over 700,000 on our social media during the past year and having engaged with over 23,000 people through our wide range of programmes thus far in 2023.
Any business, organisation or individual that sponsors an Award will also receive logo coverage at the event, four tickets to the evening, an opportunity to present an award and access to the buffet and entertainment during the night.
York RLFC Foundation Delivery Manager Adam Prentis said: "As the Foundation has grown in size and reach, so has our End of Season Awards evening. By holding the event at the LNER Community Stadium, we aim to provide the platform to recognise and celebrate the individual efforts of our players and staff.
"Whether the individuals are connected to the Foundation as players, volunteers or other professionals, their contributions cannot be underestimate and they all help make the Foundation what it is. To bring everyone together on one evening will make for a special occasion.
