Three more years for Field at York!
York Knights forward, Oli Field will remain with the club until the end of 2029, thanks to support from Squad Builder!
Already contracted for 2027, he’s signed a 2 year extension to his contract which will make him one of the Knights’ longest serving players.
The 26 year-old first joined York on a one month loan from Leeds Rhinos in 2023 before signing a permanent deal later that season. He’s gone on to make more than 100 appearances in amber and black.
After playing most of 2025 in the centres, he returned to the back row in 2026, scoring six tries in 28 appearances, including two in the memorable home with over St.Helens in August.
On remaining with York, Field said: "This club feels like home to me, and I can't wait to carry on the journey with this group."
Head coach, Mark Applegarth is pleased to keep Field in his squad.
“I’m delighted with that. Oli has done really well in Super League.
“Again, he’s relatively young and I think he’s got his best rugby in front of him.
“He became a real staple of our team this year as well as last and now he’s filling out that frame of his and he’s showing everyone what he can do, I think he’s going to be really good.”
