Dust off your sports kit and come join us for an open touch rugby league festival!
For over a decade, York RLFC have been running different forms of touch rugby, showing that this toned-down version of conventional rugby league is an exciting sport that appeals to the masses and can be played regardless of experience, ability, gender or age.
The emphasis of touch rugby league is placed on running, agility, ball handling and above all, fun! Touch Rugby’s strength as a sport is how inclusive the game can be, with families taking part alongside ex-players, current players, and players new to the game.
The game is easy to learn and easy to play, with new participants welcomed.
Sessions offer a practical way to stay fit, while also boosting bone and muscle strength and body coordination, all in a fun, social atmosphere that provides a great way to make new friends.
