York Knights face a big game in the Betfred Championship this week, when they take on Toulouse Olympique at the Stade Arneau Stadium (6.30pm BST/7.30pm CET)!
With just three league games remaining this season, itās first against second in the table, the result of this will have a big influence on who claims the League Leaders Shield.
Both teams have lost just four league games all season, and while there are two points between the sides in the table, Toulouse have a game in hand on York.
Olympique are one of the four to have beaten the Knights this season, winning 7-6 at the LNER Community Stadium back in February. Levi Edwards scored Yorkās only try that day with Ben Laguerre getting the one for Toulouse. A Jake Shorrocks drop goal was all that separated the sides in the end.
Toulouse are currently on a four match winning run, with victories over Featherstone Rovers, Barrow, London Broncos and Sheffield Eagles. Defeats this season have come against Widnes (twice), Doncaster and most recently a loss at Halifax Panthers. Other than the opening day of the season against Widnes, Toulouse have gone unbeaten at home this year.
Yorkās unbeaten run in the Championship stretched to 14 with the win at home to London Broncos last week, and 16 games in all, which is a club record.
Head coach, Mark Applegarth reported no new injury concerns after that 42-6 win over the Broncos, so heāll have some selection headaches again with a near full strength squad available.
For Toulouse, full-back Olly Ashall-Bott has been in fine form, scoring 16 tries in 16 appearances, and half-back Jake Shorrocks still influential.
