York Valkyrie Director of Rugby Lindsay Anfield has confirmed her preliminary squad, in partnership with Inglis Chartered Accountants, for Saturday's Women's Nines Finals at the Salford City Stadium (10am).
Anfield has recalled half-back Chloe Smith to her preliminary squad, with props Jas Bell, Grace Field, Daisy Sanderson, Jess Sharp and Aimee Staveley dropping out amid the smaller squad size restrictions for the Women's Nines Finals.
The Valkyrie will be hoping to pick up the first piece of silverware on offer this year and defend their Women's Nines title after winning the inaugural competition last year.

York Valkyrie will seeking to retain their Women's Nines title on Saturday (10am) at the Salford City Stadium after winning last year's inaugural competition.
Tickets are priced at £10 for Adults, £7.50 for Concessions and £5 for Children and can be purchased online HERE or on the day through the Stadium's Ticket Office.
