York Valkyrie have named their preliminary squad for Saturday's 2024 home season opener against Featherstone Rovers in the Betfred Women's Challenge Cup at York St John University Sports Park (1pm).
Director of Rugby Lindsay Anfield makes three changes to her preliminary squad following last month's 74-10 rout of Sheffield Eagles.
Former Army back Kira Fitzpatrick comes into the squad as a trialist while utility Georgie Hetherington and centre Carrie Roberts come back into the fold. Elisa Akpa, Liv Gale and Ellie Hendry all drop out.
