Valkyrie name preliminary squad for home clash against St Helens


York Valkyrie Director of Rugby Lindsay Anfield has confirmed her preliminary squad, in partnership with Inglis Chartered Accountants, for Sunday's 2023 home season opener against St Helens at the LNER Community Stadium (1pm).


Anfield makes just one change to her preliminary squad ahead of the Betfred Women's Super League clash, with Daisy Sanderson replacing the injured Sade Rihari.


The Valkyrie will be seeking to maintain their superb start to the 2023 Betfred Women's Super League after a 34-12 win against reigning champions Leeds Rhinos at Headingley Stadium on Sunday.
