York Valkyrie Director of Rugby Lindsay Anfield has confirmed her preliminary squad, in partnership with Inglis Chartered Accountants, for Sunday's Betfred Women’s Challenge Cup Quarter-Final against Cardiff Demons at the LNER Community Stadium (2pm).
Anfield makes just one change to her preliminary squad following last month's 44-4 win over Warrington Wolves in the Betfred Women's Super League.
Back-rower Lacey Owen returns to the fold, replacing forward Matilda Butler.
The Valkyrie will be seeking to continue their perfect record in 2023 following six straight wins over Leeds Rhinos (12-34), St Helens (26-6), Barrow Raiders (4-44), Hull KR (122-0) and Leigh Leopards (0-54) and Warrington Wolves (44-4).

The LNER Community Stadium will host an historic double header involving two Betfred Challenge Cup Quarter-Final ties on Sunday. York Valkyrie face Cardiff Demons in the Betfred Women's Challenge Cup (2pm) before York Knights meet Betfred Super League side Leigh Leopards (5pm) in the Betfred Men's Challenge Cup.
