York Valkyrie have named their preliminary squad for Sunday's 2024 season opener at Sheffield Eagles in the Betfred Women's Challenge Cup at Olympic Legacy Park (2pm).
Director of Rugby Lindsay Anfield has named off-season signings Eboni Partington and Lucy Eastwood, who have arrived from St Helens and Warrington Wolves respectively, in her preliminary squad, with the pair potentially set to make their Valkyrie debuts.
Former England international Kelsey Gentles also returns to the side after missing the 2023 season, having given birth to her daughter Maia.
