Valkyrie sign former Rhinos U19, Henderson

York Valkyrie have added winger or centre, Brooke Henderson to their squad for 2026, thanks to the support of Squad Builder!
A former Leeds Rhinos Under 19 player, Henderson has a rugby union background having been brought up in the North East.
The teenager from Wallsend was part of the North East Centre of Excellence, and has also represented her county.
She’s been working as Development Officer for Newcastle Rugby Foundation, where former Valkyrie forward, Zoe Hornby also worked.
Now, she’s part of the Valkyrie squad and looking to make her Betfred Women’s Super League debut.
On joining York, Henderson said: "I’m extremely grateful to be given this opportunity and I’m excited to be apart of this amazing team and looking forward to the season ahead."
