York Valkyrie Under-19s marked their debut at the LNER Community Stadium with a dramatic 22-20 victory over Wigan Warriors.
York recovered from 10-0 down to establish a 22-10 lead early in the second half, thanks to tries from Courtney Marsh, Liv Whitehead, T'Leesha Frederick-Maynard and Cody Marsh.
Wigan fought back to cut down to just two points heading into the dying stages, but the Valkyrie held on to claim victory at the LNER Community Stadium.
