Valkyrie Under-19s pick up first ever victory against Warrington

York Valkyrie Under-19s picked up their first ever victory at York Acorn at the weekend, beating Warrington Wolves 36-10.
Courtney Marsh (2), Alisha Roper, T'Leesha Fredericks-Maynard, Charlie Lawson, Chloe Smith and Kacey Sexton scored the Valkyrie's tries. Marsh (3) and Smith (1) contributed the goals.
The result was the Under-19s' first victory since their formation at the start of this year and followed their inaugural match on Wednesday evening, a 44-30 defeat to Huddersfield Giants Under-19s.

York Valkyrie continue their Betfred Women's Challenge Cup Group Four campaign on Sunday (12pm) against Hull KR at the LNER Community Stadium as part of a double header, with York Knights facing London Broncos later that afternoon (3pm) in the Betfred Championship.
