York Valkyrie can confirm that Chevelle Clarke, Eva Izumi and T'leesha Frederick-Maynard have joined Huddersfield Giants on short-term deals while Chloe Smith has joined Castleford Tigers on dual registration.
Clarke, Izumi and Frederick-Maynard join Huddersfield for their clash with reigning Betfred Women's Challenge Cup holders St Helens on Sunday (1pm) at the Totally Wicked Stadium.
The trio will link-up with a Huddersfield side struggling with injures at present, allowing the Giants to fulfil their Betfred Women's Super League fixture against St Helens and giving a chance for York's young talent to gain some first-team game-time.
Director of Rugby Lindsay Anfield said: "This is a great opportunity for Chevelle, Eva and T'leesha to feature for Huddersfield and to test themselves against one of the best teams in the women's game.
"This gives them an opportunity to show effort in defence, their willingness to work hard and an ability to compete physically against St Helens.
"If they can do that, then they can show that they can be influential players in our squad next season.
"All three players are still very much in our plans here at York. This move allows them to gain some first-team game-time alongside their training programmes with ourselves in the first-team and the Under-19s."
On Smith's dual registration agreement with Castleford, Anfield added: "Chloe can now train with both ourselves and Castleford, helping her continue the development and progression of her game through some valuable minutes at the Tigers."
Betfred Women's Super League leaders York Valkyrie will be seeking to maintain their unbeaten start in the division against Wigan Warriors on Sunday (12pm) at the LNER Community Stadium.
The fixture is part of a double header as York Knights face Halifax Panthers in the Betfred Championship later that afternoon (3pm).
