York RLFC can announce York College as a new partner for 2026!

York College is embarking on an exciting and impactful partnership with York RLFC, built on shared values of education, opportunity, and community. The collaboration creates pathways for students to gain real-world experience and exposure to a professional sporting environment on the Betfred Super League stage.

As a new partner, York College will work closely with York RLFC and its supporters, providing students with insight, hands-on experience, and opportunities to develop skills that prepare them for future careers in sport. In return, York RLFC benefits from access to emerging talent, fresh perspectives, and the next generation of skilled sports professionals across multiple disciplines.

Together, York College and York RLFC look forward to building a strong, long-lasting relationship focused on shared growth, mutual support, and making a positive impact both within the Betfred Super League and the wider community.

York College’s logo will feature on the back of the playing shirt.

York RLFC Chairman, Clint Goodchild, said: “We’d like to offer a very warm welcome and heartfelt thank you to York College.

Ken Merry, Principal and Chief Executive of York College said: "Our partnership with the club is one we really value and I am delighted that York College has been given the opportunity to show our support to the York Knights and York Valkyrie by having our logo appear on the shirt of our city's Rugby League team, especially as this is the first season in Super League for the Knights.

"We will be looking to support the development of future rugby league talent through the York Knights/York Valkyrie x York College Development Centre and will be cheering on both teams this season."
