Welsh international Wood signs again!

York Valkyrie’s Welsh international, Agnes Wood has signed again for 2026, thanks to support from Squad Builder!
Initially joining York on dual registration in 2024 from Sheffield Eagles, Wood kicked on last year, scoring five tries in ten appearances for the Valkyrie and earning two more Welsh caps.
Able to play at hooker, Wood mainly featured at prop and loose forward as the Valkyrie reached the Betfred Super League play off semi final.
On remaining at Valkyrie, Wood said:
“I am really excited to re-sign with the Valks this year.
“We’ve got a great squad heading into this season and I can’t wait to get back out on the pitch with the girls.”
