York RLFC Foundation are delighted to be staging a Wheelchair Rugby League taster session on Monday as part of York Disability week!
York RLFC's Wheelchair side will be running a taster session at The Vale of York Academy (YO30 6ZS) on Monday (7.30pm - 9pm), which is open to anyone over the age of 12, with no past experience required.
The session is priced at £5 for existing Wheelchair players and, as part of this special week, FREE for any new players.
Wheelchair Rugby League is one of the fastest-growing derivative of the sport, providing opportunities to both able-bodies and disabled players.
Anyone interested in taking part in the taster session is asked to contact inclusion@yorkrlfc.com beforehand to help plan the evening.

Learning Disability Rugby League offers a non-competitive and inclusive variation of the sport, open to players with physical or learning disabilities.
LDRL provides opportunities for players to take part in friendly matches and festivals, with past venues including Newcastle's St James' Park, Liverpool FC's Anfield and the LNER Community Stadium. York RLFC's LDRL sessions will return in the spring.
Taster sessions for Physical Disability Rugby League will be taking place in the spring and summer, giving playing opportunities to those with physical disabilities who wish to take part in competitive matches.
Organised by York Human Rights City, York Disability Week is now in its seventh year, promoting an equal, inclusive and accessible York.
